Caulk is used on painted moldings and helps fill any gaps or cracks between either the walls or ceiling and the trim itself. Caulking these small gaps causes the trim to become a part of the wall and there are no longer ugly black lines running above or below the moldings.
Most carpenters and painters are satisfied with using the cheapest "paint grade" caulk they can find because it does the job, at least for the time being. Later though, these caulk joints fail and you once again have visible gaps between your walls and your prized moldings. To prevent this TRIMLOGIC uses an upgraded and highly elastic caulk that is even recommended for outdoor uses. This high grade caulk moves and bends with your moldings and prevents caulk joints from failing. This helps in keeping your moldings looking just the way they did when they were first installed.
